Dr. Kepler was born and raised on Maui, the son of a local pediatrician and public health nurse. He graduated from Baldwin High School before attending the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and subsequently the John A. Burns School of Medicine at UH. He completed a dual residency in Pediatrics and Internal Medicine, passing both Medical Boards shortly after completing his training.
However, his practice is now limited to Internal Medicine and occasionally covering acute care in Pediatrics. Dr. Kepler has been with Kihei-Wailea Medical Center since 2004 Dr. Kepler prefers to spend his time off with his wife and two sons.
